Notes
Important Considerations:
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- All messages in conversation are deleted
- Chat settings and persona configurations are lost
- No backup is created automatically
- Consider exporting before deleting if content may be needed later
Best Practices:
- Export important conversations before deleting
- Double-check you're deleting the correct chat
- Review conversation one last time before confirming
- Use descriptive names to avoid confusion about which chat is which
- Regularly clean up test or unnecessary chats to keep list manageable
Common User Questions:
- "Can I recover a deleted chat?" - No, deletion is permanent
- "Is there a trash bin?" - No, deletion is immediate and permanent
- "Should I export before deleting?" - Yes, if there's any chance you'll need the content later
- "Does deletion free up space?" - Yes, but typically minimal unless chat is very large
- "Will this affect my other chats?" - No, only the selected chat is deleted

- User manually initiates
Specific trigger: User wants to delete a conversation, typically because:
